Letโ€™s face itโ€”video marketing can be tough for small businesses. Whether youโ€™re dealing with limited funds, feeling overwhelmed by the technical side of things, or simply struggling to find  the time to learn complex tools, I get it. Trust me, youโ€™re not aloneโ€”Iโ€™ve been there.

Over the years, Iโ€™ve tested countless video marketing tools to find what really works. The truth is, the best solution often depends on your unique needs and goals. There isnโ€™t a one-size-fits-all answer here.

However, Iโ€™ve found a handful of tools that consistently deliver exceptional results without breaking the bank or demanding endless hours of your time.

So, without further ado, hereโ€™s my curated list of video marketing tools that I absolutely love:

Rytr is an AI writing assistant that speeds up high-quality content production while helping you save time and money.

In fact, I used it to write this blog postโ€™s introduction and conclusionโ€”check them out to see for yourself the quality of the content you can produce with it.

While Rytr can be used for writing video scripts and descriptions, I want to make one thing very clear: to get high-quality outputs, you should create a custom tone of voice and ideally a custom use case.

Creating a custom use case isn't always absolutely necessary because Rytr has many pre-built use cases you can use. However, you should consider creating one to get even better results.

At the end of the day, all AI tools depend on the quality of the data theyโ€™re trained with, so it's key to consider training Rytr with your existing video scripts.

The only downside I see to using Rytr is their customer support.

While Rytr works wonderfully and they have many guides you can follow to learn how to use it effectively, itโ€™s key to know that their customer support is pretty much non-existent. Iโ€™ve tried reaching out to them a few times with different email addresses, and theyโ€™ve never replied.

Iโ€™m not sure why thatโ€™s the case, but just know that could happen to you too. So, keep that in mind when considering using Rytr.

Despite this drawback, Rytr remains a powerful tool for video marketers looking to streamline their content creation process.

2) Claude

Image shows an example of Claude's response to a prompt

Claude is an AI assistant that can help you perform tasks based on specific inputs. Itโ€™s similar to Rytr, but with two key differences: the amount of data you can feed into it and how you prompt it to produce content.

Now, I wonโ€™t dive into a full tutorial on how to use Claudeโ€”but donโ€™t worry, Claudeโ€™s website has step-by-step guides that make getting started fast and easy. Iโ€™ll link them below for easy access:

To craft a video script or description with Claude, simply create a project using your documents, code, or files. Once your project is set up, ask Claude to generate video scripts and descriptions based on the research you've done and the data backing your claims.

Thatโ€™s it! Itโ€™s a simple process, but keep in mind that it takes some time to produce all the content you need to train your model effectively.

That said, Claude can do more than just create video scripts and descriptions. For example, you can create social media posts, blog posts, and much more.

This versatility makes Claude an excellent solution for businesses that already have content and want to repurpose it or expand their production.

3) Camtasia

Camtasia is video editing and screen recording software that helps you record and create professional-looking videos.

It has a user-friendly interface and offers a wide range of features and templates you can use to create your content.

You can add text, images, audio, animations, special effects, and even use premade templates to make your videos more appealing.

I like Camtasia for its simplicity. Itโ€™s my go-to tool for quick and simple edits, or when I want to do a screen-recording for tutorials.

One thing to note: while Camtasia is great for most video marketing needs, itโ€™s not the best choice for highly complex, Hollywood-style productions. But for creating, letโ€™s say, social media videos, product demos, or how-to guides, itโ€™s tough to beat.

4) DaVinci Resolve

DaVinci Resolve is professional editing software that lets you color grade, add effects, and edit audio all in one place.

I absolutely love DaVinci Resolve because of how simple it is to use. Sure, the timeline looks a bit intimidating at a first glance, but itโ€™s actually very straightforward once you get the hang of it.

They offer many free effects and they have tons of tutorials you can read or watch for quickly picking up their software.

Now, hereโ€™s something thatโ€™s perfect for businesses: the ability to collaborate with other creatives in real-time. Editors, colorists, VFX artists, and sound engineers can all work on the same project simultaneously, no matter where theyโ€™re in the world.

And the best part is that you can start using it for free. They have a free version you can use to get familiar with their software and edit videos for platforms like YouTube.

There are many things you can do with VidIQ but one of the most important benefits is doing keyword research for YouTube marketing. It helps you find keywords related to your audience to determine search demand and come up with content ideas.

This is particularly helpful if youโ€™re stuck on what videos to makeโ€” itโ€™ll give you many ideas for future content.

Another thing you can do is ask their AI to come up with scripts, title ideas, tags, thumbnails, and descriptions for your YouTube videos.

It dives into your channelโ€™s analytics to figure out what titles perform best, and then suggests titles for your next video. Itโ€™s a great way to get a better understanding for your audience and make sure your videos are optimized to grab attention.

6) Streambeats

Streambeats is a platform that gives access to royalty-free tracks for YouTube and Twitch livestreams.

If youโ€™re already subscribed to music streaming platforms like YouTube Music, Spotify, or Apple Music, youโ€™ve got access to their entire library. And if you prefer to keep things local, you can  download their songs directly from  their website for use in your YouTube videos or Podcast.

All tracks have been submitted to Twitch's Audible Magic and YouTube's ContentID system, which means theyโ€™re fully compliant with DMCA regulations.

In plain English?

You can play these tracks  in the background of live streams and videos without violating copyright.

As a content creator myself, I like Streambeats because it's a convenient and safe way of using high-quality music for our videos without the risk of getting copyright strikes.

And itโ€™s free, which always helps to get started.

7) Storyblocks

Storyblocks is a subscription service for video, audio, and image stock. They have a library of more than 1.5 million digital assets you can use to bring your vision to life.

The content is royalty-free, this means, once youโ€™ve downloaded something during your subscription, you can use it again and again without any recurring fees.

And if you decide to cancel your subscription down the line, you still have full commercial and personal rights for all the files youโ€™ve already downloaded.

Iโ€™ve mainly used Storyblocks for getting stock footage for my YouTube videos. What I like about it is that it's easy to use and has a huge library. I can find pretty much anything and everything I need there.

My final thoughts

There are literally thousands of video marketing tools in the market, so make sure to have your budget and goals in mind when choosing the tools you'll use.

It can feel overwhelming at first, but if you donโ€™t like the tools I shared above, visit websites like Clutch, G2, and Capterra. They have lists of video marketing tools that can help you dig deeper and find your perfect match.
