How To Open Your Quora Account

  • The first thing you need to do to open a Quora account is head to quora.com.
  • After that, click “Signup with email”. You can also do it with Google or Facebook but for this tutorial, I’ll show you the process with your email.

  • The next thing you need to do is type your name and email address. Then click “Next”.

  • You’ll have to confirm your email by typing the code Quora will send you (check your email).

  • As soon as you confirm your email, you’ll have to choose the password you want to use for Quora.
  • Lastly, you’ll have to choose at least five topics to follow. Then you’ll get access to your dashboard.

And that’s it.

That’s all you have to do to open your Quora account. However, don’t go just yet because you need to update your settings to avoid getting spammed.

  • After you get access to your dashboard, click on your profile image. Then select “Settings”.

  • After that, select “Email & notifications”. That will take you to your Notification Center.
  • Once you are there, turn off all email notifications. Only keep the notifications you want to get.

For example, the only notifications I have enabled are for Quora moderation. Everything else is turned off so I recommend you do the same.
